THE CONTINENTAL ARMY – WE ARE ONE

The “13 rings of the Continental Army” refers to a design found on a Second New Hampshire Regiment flag from the Revolutionary War. It features 13 interlocking rings labeled with the names of the original states.

This symbol also appeared on early U.S. currency and was associated with the motto “We Are One,” representing the unity and strength of the newly formed nation.
